Susan Kolberg-Pritchard, Ph.D.

Dr. Susan Pritchard is a retired La Habra City School District Teacher. For over four decades, she instilled a love of learning in the students at Las Positas School and Washington Middle School. 

Dr. Pritchard earned a National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science and her professional credentials include a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Irvine, a Master’s Degree from California State University, Fullerton and a Doctorate Degree from Claremont Graduate School.

Her many accomplishments include receiving the Hughes Excellence Award in Science and Math Education, the Project Tomorrow's Vision for Excellence Award, and being named a top-ten semi-finalist for the NSTA Shell Outstanding Science Educator Award.  Dr. Pritchard was also honored as a Hero in the Classroom for Orange County and was the 2016 STEM Teacher of the Year. 

Dr. Pritchard is married to Dr. Mike Pritchard. They have lived in La Habra for many years, and enjoy spending time up in the mountains with their dogs.
