At El Cerrito Elementary, thankfulness is woven into our school culture, uniting students, staff, and the community. This season, we are especially grateful for the shared moments of joy and purpose experienced during Red Ribbon Week—a vibrant reminder of our commitment to living healthy, substance-free lives.
Throughout Red Ribbon Week, El Cerrito was filled with spirited celebrations. Students and staff enthusiastically joined in themed days, wearing creative costumes that showcased school pride. From “Wear Red Day” to “Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness,” each day provided an opportunity to express gratitude for the supportive environment that binds us together.
A special thanks to the El Cerrito PTA for sponsoring an unforgettable BMX assembly, which captivated students with thrilling performances and underscored valuable life lessons on perseverance, healthy choices, and teamwork.
As we reflect on this season of thankfulness, we are reminded of the support that strengthens our school community. We are grateful for the laughter, the learning, and the deepening bonds that make El Cerrito a truly special place to grow.
