November is a season of gratitude, and at Imperial Middle School, we have so much to be thankful for! Our school community is united in its dedication to supporting student success, thanks to the unwavering commitment of our teachers, staff, families, and community members.
This year has been filled with exciting events that highlight our school spirit, student talents, and community involvement. One of the standout occasions was our annual IMS Fall Festival, bringing together the entire IMS community for an unforgettable evening of music, art, and delicious food from the In-N-Out Cookout Truck. School board trustees Dr. Susan Pritchard and Justin Rodgers were among the attendees, expressing their appreciation for the creative student showcases and the event’s welcoming atmosphere.
The evening’s highlight was a series of captivating performances by our talented IMS Choir, Intermediate Band, and Concert Band students. Alongside the musical showcases, guests admired beautiful artwork displayed by our IMS Art students. The In-N-Out Burger fundraiser, organized by our wonderful IMS Music Boosters Club, was a big hit, selling over 600 meal tickets!
This successful event was a true team effort, made possible through the hard work and collaboration of our entire school community, including the PTA and Music Boosters Club. A special thank you goes to our amazing VAPA team—Mr. Carvajal, Mr. Frelly, Ms. Yankell, and Ms. Johnson—for organizing this memorable celebration. Go Knights!
