Dear La Habra Families,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are filled with an abundance of gratitude to serve the wonderful families and students in our community. We are thankful for you entrusting in us the responsibility of educating and guiding your child, while keeping them safe. Working together we will continue to do incredible things for our students this year both academically and socially.
This Fall season we have been appreciative of your partnership and the overwhelming family presence at our school events including Back-to-School orientations, our Fall Festivals, the Veterans' Day celebration, and our Fall concerts. We are also extremely grateful for the many volunteers who have committed their time to our Parent Teacher Associations, School Site Councils, and English Learner Advisory Committees. These events and programs would not be successful without family and parent participation, so we are thankful for your dedication to our district.
On behalf of the Board of Education, and the La Habra City School District team, we wish you a blessed and restful Thanksgiving Recess. Schools will be closed on November 21-25. Happy Thanksgiving!
Respectfully,
Mario A. Carlos, Ed.D.
Superintendent
