At Las Positas, we believe in recognizing and celebrating the amazing efforts of our students. That’s why we’ve created an exciting way for students to earn rewards through the PBIS program, featuring our very own school store, Pawsco, where students can use their Pride Tickets to purchase a variety of fun rewards!
Students earn Pride Tickets by demonstrating positive behaviors such as being kind, working hard, following school rules, and helping others. The more they engage in these actions, the more tickets they can collect, building excitement and motivation along the way.
The highlight of each trimester is our "Grand Pawsco" event, where students who have saved up their tickets can trade them in for even bigger prizes. This special occasion is a celebration of the positive behaviors that make Las Positas a wonderful place to learn and grow.
Grand Pawsco offers something for everyone, from smaller rewards like pencils and stickers to fun items like fidget toys and squishmallows. For those who save up their tickets, there are even extra-special options, such as 10 minutes of extra recess! The opportunity to work toward bigger rewards keeps students excited and motivated throughout the year.
Pawsco and the PBIS program are more than just about earning prizes—they're about fostering a positive and supportive school environment where students feel encouraged to do their best. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work our students put in and can’t wait to see how many more Pride Tickets they earn this year!
