Vicki Short & Karen Irizarry
At the beginning of each school year, we honor our certificated staff members that have achieved a milestone in years of service with the district.
This year we were fortunate to recognize two very special teachers celebrating 35 years of service. Karen Irizarry, a kindergarten teacher at Ladera Palma and Vicki Short a Special Education teacher at Las Positas, received a golden apple as a small token of the District’s appreciation of their years of providing quality educational programs to our students.
We are so proud of these very dedicated teachers who have chosen to spend their careers serving the students and families of the La Habra community. Recognition pins were also given out to more than forty-five teachers for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service.
