The La Habra City School District is pleased to announce a take-home iPad program for its middle school academy students. Students at our middle school academies have been using iPads in the classroom at a one-to-one ratio for the past few years, but this new program will provide all middle school academy students with their own iPad to be used both at school and at home. This fall iPads were deployed to students at our Washington and Imperial Academies. The iPad one-to-one take-home home program will help to create a learning environment that enables extended student-instructor interaction. This environment allows each student to learn at a personalized level and pace. The iPads are intended to be tools that both teachers and students can utilize at school and home to expand the curriculum and learning experience. They do not replace the curriculum or fundamentals of teaching. The iPad program will give La Habra students access to technology tools that will assist them with their homework to extend learning outside of the traditional classroom. Additional information on the program and school enrollment opportunities is available by contacting our middle school academies directly.
