One of the greatest soccer players, Pelé, once said, “Success is no accident, it is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing”.
As we near the start of state testing, all students in grades three through eight will have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning. The results of these assessments will identify where students are doing well and where they may need more support in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Students in grades five and eight will also be assessed in the area of Science. These adaptive computer based assessments are given over multiple days, allowing for breaks in testing to give students the best opportunity to exhibittheir learning throughout the year.
All school sites provide incentives for students before, during, and after testing to motivate and reward them for their hard work and perseverance. We are confident in the outcome of our students and wish them well as they “Rock the Test!”
