Please join us in celebrating the promotion of the first class of Dual Immersion students in the La Habra City School District. The Dual Immersion program began in the fall of 2014 with two classes of students at Arbolita Elementary School. As the program grew, it eventually moved to the Ladera Palma campus where it is now a full Dual Immersion school with 568 biliterate students. In the fall of 2021, the first groups of students started at Washington Middle School as a Dual Language strand. They have continued to receive instruction in both languages through both seventh and eighth grade. On May 23rd, they received their Biliteracy Attainment Recognition certificates to reward the high academic achievement they have achieved in both languages. We would like to thank the students and families for joining us through this journey.
