The La Habra City School District, in partnership with Breakthrough Sports, offers a free after-school sports program for elementary school students as part of the Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). This program promotes physical activity and teamwork among students. Participating schools gather weekly for friendly sports competitions. The first sport offered is Co-Ed Flag Football, available to 4th-6th graders depending on the school site (see registration portal).
