With the District’s Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP) running strong at all school sites, all students have had the opportunity to engage in before and after school programs as well as field-trip excursions on Saturdays, and intersession programming at the Boys & Girls Club of La Habra.
Highlights of our before and after school programs have included various hands-on creative activities, sports and other types of physical activity, visual and performing arts, digital creation and design, robotics and drones, and tutoring in all academic subjects. Saturday excursions have included trips to the Newport Sea Base, the Natural History Museum, Irvine Ranch, Oso Lake, and Segerstrom Performing Arts Center.
The opportunities mentioned above will continue through the summer during our ELOP Summer Building Relationships & Innovation to Develop Growth in Education (BRIDGE) program. All students, including our incoming kindergarten students have been invited to participate in 18 days of summer learning and fun!
