At Walnut, we take immense pride in celebrating the achievements of our remarkable students. From academic accomplishments to creative endeavors, our students continually inspire us with their dedication and talent.
One of our most cherished traditions is recognizing Perfect Attendance winners. These students exemplify commitment and resilience by showing up daily, on time, and ready to learn. They are celebrated with certificates and free meal vouchers from generous local establishments such as Cane’s, In-N-Out, Chick-fil-A, Shakey’s, and more.
Our students also excelled in the S.T.E.A.M Race to Space Reading Challenge, a program encouraging exploration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through reading. Many students were recognized for their participation, and one outstanding student earned the honor of attending a special ceremony hosted by the Orange County Department of Education.
In addition, two of our students showcased their focus and perseverance by placing in the Top 5 of the district’s spelling bee contest, further demonstrating their academic excellence.
The arts are thriving at Walnut as well, with several students receiving awards for their exceptional artwork. Their contributions helped our school earn an Art Achievement Award, a testament to the creative talent nurtured within our community.
